Tommy Firebaugh recorded a Hole-In-One on Thursday, June 9th at Blue Hills Golf Club in Roanoke, VA. He was using a 23 degree Utility Club on Hole Number 11 at 122 yards. Witnesses were Pete Campbell; Chris Sheets; and Buford Lumsden.

An interesting story on how the above hole in one happened. While playing golf on another course in the Roanoke, VA area, I found a yellow/green Titleist AVX golf ball in the rough. I had never seen this new AVX so I starting hitting it. About a week later I was playing at Blue Hills Golf Club when I approached the par 3, 122 yards uphill and hit a shot that was headed in the right direction but couldn't see the pin placement. When my playing group got up there it was nowhere to be found. I asked one of the guys to look in the cup and WOAH! There it was. That was the only highlight of my round but it brightened my day.
