I'm in my mid sixties and have been laying golf since my mid teens .... it's been 45+ years that I've enjoyed this game. My first ace came recently on Sunday 5/29/22 at Centennial in Oak Ridge TN. It's my home course and #8 was playing 135 yards and my 8-iron looked good off the club face. My Titleist AVX was on a good line and landed just left of the hole and hopped once, spun back and down it went! I'm thankful that my first hole-in-one came on a hole where I could see it finish and go in. You can see the ball mark my ball made and see the ball in the hole in my photo. I've had a number of shots finish inside one foot and a couple that have hit the flag stick and bound out ...... not this time! It was a perfect day for golf and I finally hit a perfect shot.
