Playing at my home club with the boys late Wednesday afternoon. Of course we are betting and playing 2v2 match play. We won the last 2 holes so they press and I'm the first to step up to the 157 yard Par 3 with my 8 iron. I swing, we see it land and then disappear. Its not easy to see the hole since the sun is right in our eyes. We use our rangefinder and nobody can see the ball. The obvious thing to do was to act chill and wait to drive up to the hole. It was a nerve racking 45 sec drive but in the end I got my first hole in one after 2 years of playing. It's humbling when you hear other golfers that are way better than yourself that have not yet experienced their first hole in one. Thanks for letting me share my story.
