Our group Is normally the first or second group out early on Saturday mornings and 5/28/2022 was no different. Stepping up to the #9 tee box, the flag was hard to see from our angle because of the tree to the left of the green that was shading the hole. After measuring the distance, with slope, at 116 yards, I pulled out my pitching wedge and hit my Titleist matte green Velocity cleanly toward the hole. Although everyone in our foursome was in agreement that it was a good trajectory, the opinion as to where the ball landed was mixed. I saw it land near the cup, bounce and disappear, someone else thought it was behind a mound to the left of the hole and yet another thought is was behind the flag. No one was confident in their opinion. As we approached the green, it was evident that the ball was not on the green. With anticipation, I looked in the cup to see my 1st Hole In One!
