I have played golf for about forty years (mostly to a very average standard). During the lockdown I decided to practice every day by hitting 40 balls each day into a net. Amazingly when I got to play again I got my first ever hole in one (in September 2020) and I have just got another one!

Because of the green you always have to aim left on this hole as everything slopes away - I hit the ball where I wanted it to go (161 yds) and watched it land on the green and then roll in a wide arc before disappearing. Because my playing partner and I both have failing eye sight we weren't actually 100% sure it had gone in until we walked half way up the fairway!
