  1. Riverbend Golf Course, Ft. Wayne, Indiana, Par 3, #13 hole- 160yds slightly uphill into a 20mph wind gust. The pin was on the left front corner. I usually use a 7 or 8 iron for the distance, but I took a 6 out then put it back and grabbed my five iron. I hit my irons at a high trajectory and knew with the wind gusts it would be dropping straight down when it reached the green. My shot was straight at the pin and landed on the green, but I lost sight of it. I asked if anybody saw the ball and one person said, "I think it went in the cup." I took out the range finder and looked for my ball on the green while the other three I was golfing with hit their tee shots. I didn't see a ball and started to think that I might have made a hole in one. As I approached the green, the anticipation started to build. I had been close many times either hitting the pin in flight or on a bounce with one shot making an indentation on the rim of the back right side of the cup, so needless to say I was hesitant in letting the excitement of the moment build too much, so the possible disappointment wouldn't be to big of a let down. When we got to the green, I saw a ball mark in line with the pin and slowly approached the hole still looking around the green for my ball. When I got to the hole, a smile and a sense of relief that it finally happened came over me. I celebrated the moment with my fellow golfers marking the occasion with a few pictures, which I've included.
