  1. We're drove all night to Wisconsin from Rochester NY and arrived at 5:30am for our 7:00am tee time. It was 40 degrees, cloudy and thr wind was whipping, 20 mph+. By about the 5th hole a drenching mist began - conditioned were miserable! Add we walked up to the 9th tee, I commented to my playing partner that there was no where to safely miss on thre hole as it was guarded by bunkers all around. Since it was down wind and down hill thre caddies called for PW and I subsequently watched thre 3 others in my foursome land their shots short in the aforementioned. I pulled my 9 iron and hit my Pro-V1 #4 about 12 feet short left, bounce, roll, clank - in the hole! Amazing, high fives all around, hooting and yelling. My first hole in one ever, at Erin Hills none the less! Thank you Erin Hills for the commemorative #9 flag and all thre congratulations! Incredible experience!!!
