  1. On a brisk and breezy Sunday morning, 23 May, I stepped on to the tee box on the par 3 Hole # 4 after just recording back-to-back double bogeys. Although the shortest par 3 on the course at Rheinblick, this hole has eaten my lunch over the past 3 years as it is protected by a walled stream running across the front. Choosing my 8 iron for the shot scoped at 107 into a stiff wind, I hit the perfectly flighted baby fade that landed just a foot from the cup and proceeded to one hop down the flag to the hole only to have appeared to have come to rest outside the cup. Moments later as Matt, my playing partner for the dog fight, prepared to hit his tee ball, the white speck on the green was gone. Could it be? Matt proceeded to hit is shot to about 6’ and off we went. The photos show the rest. My Titleist ProV1X in the bottom of the cup. Greatest moment in my life.

Congratulations on the ace, Kevin. Coming after two double bogeys, I'm sure it felt especially wonderful. Keep it up and more will show up over time.
