5-15-2021 Shepherd"s Crook Golf Course, Zion, Illinois Hole # 11, Playing about 168 to the pin. Pin positioned in the back right quadrant protected by a mound and bunker. Wind was blowing from left to right about 10 mph. I had 142 to the front of the sloping green up hill and the flat for about 25 ft and then falling off to the right.I had 182 to the back of the green. My plan was to hit the ball on the right side and to the deeper portion of the green, About 168 yards. I hit my Titleist 5 hybrid club and a Prov1 ball to the left side. The ball hit the slope and bounced right and started to follow the slope toward the hole. The cup was blocked from our view from tee box but I was sure that it was close to the hole. Once we got to the green my ball was no where to be found. Until my playing partner looked in the hole. Well.."HOLE IN ONE" OMG after 60 years of playing golf, MY FIRST HOLE IN ONE! WOW UNBELIEVABLE....
