I was playing 9 holes after work with my good friend (and former New Hampshire State Amateur Champion) John. He’s a plus handicap so was giving me six strokes. Rushed to the first tee with a few minutes to spare before it was go time. Played the first three holes solid: par, bogey, par. Got to the fourth hole and lasered it at 204 yards. Took out my 3 hybrid, found a broken tee on the ground and teed up my ProV1x. Pin was in the back. Hit the ball pure, right to left. John says as it is mid air “picked the wrong day to be messing with Jon!” The ball landed just left of the flag with slight right to left spin. One hop, hit the flag stick, and the ball disappeared. We celebrated on the tee box. Celebrated on the green. And celebrated at the bar afterwards. A moment I will never forget!
