Amazing getting my first ace playing my very first Pro V! A dozen Pro V1x balls was a prize I won at a charity golf outing the prior week. Funny thing is I had just purchased 20 dozen Calloway balls. Guess I'm giving them to friends. Can't see playing anything other than Pro V balls from now on. It would be bad karma after the Titleist golf gods rewarded me with my first hole-in-one. On the first tee I told my friends that I figured something out at the range. They laughed. I was having a solid round. The 11th hole at The Falls Club is not easy. I now know mine was only the 13th ace on this hole since 1991. Water all down the right side, well bunkered, and OB deep. The green runs up hill, so anything that hits the green is easy to see as it rolls out. I used a 6 iron from 172 yards. The impact felt solid and the ball was tracking at the stick. It hit the green and disappeared. We were all stunned. We knew it went in! It was awesome celebrating with great friends who I've played so many rounds with. This is a story that I'll enthusiastically share for the rest of my life. Thank you Titleist for being a part of it!
