Playing at Honey Bee Golf Course in Va. Beach with my wife's co-workers! Hole #16, 184 yards, straight into the wind. Approx a two club wind in our face. Bunker guarding the front right of the green, in addition a tree about 15 yards in front of the right edge of green. I play a wicked draw/hook typically. I wanted to hit a low 5-iron toward the tree and let it fly. I hit my target, it begins to draw, bounces just in front of the bunker, and hops over onto the green. I lost it from there. Trey, wife's boss, said I think it just went in. We all took out our sky caddies, and we couldn't see it on the green. I of course got excited, but began to play it down and say it must have gone off the back. Trey said I bet $50 its in the hole. We all, Trey, Tyler, Chad, and myself head towards the green. Tyler ahead of me, Trey and Chad beside me. Looking around the green, and towards the back of the green, we didn't see anything. Tyler, glances in the hole, then looks away. I leaned in toward the hole, and saw that Titleist Pro V1x #3 sitting in there. We all cheered and I bent down in disbelief! Such an exciting thing to be part of. Needless to say, my adrenaline was pumping and didn't come down from the clouds until well after the round. Went into clubhouse for a round. Went to work, then met the guys back out to pay for the nights tab! Thank you Titleist!!!
