During my first high school regional competition in Pinehurst, NC I was on the 3rd hole and as I hit the ball I thought, “oh it looks good, I may birdie this hole”. I heard some say Nice shot, then “very nice shot” then “HOLY COW, It went in”. I heard cheering but it was all a blur at that point. The rest of the day, others players in my conference and parents congratulated me and some told us they heard us cheering. After it was verified, Pinehurst presented me with a custom bag tag with all the details engraved. It was an awesome feeling, especially at Pinehurst. I’ll never forget May 4, 2021.
