For my 62 birthday, my son and I played Poppy Hills and had a great round with two gents, one being a former pro caddy who absolutely knew how to read greens. We had a few hours of daylight so we dropped down to the new par 3 at Pebble Beach now called “The Hay”. Tiger designed it and he nailed it- so good. Long story short I was tired after 4 holes and the long walk at Poppy so I waited on the 5th green. I turned my back to make sure Mackey didn’t sent a stinger straight at me, saw him swing, turned, saw one bounce and in the hole it went. I have video of him doing the “Hole In One Walk” which is priceless. The ball being the same ProV1 he stole out of my bag at Poppy. Not sure if I should steal it back. Great birthday present!
