I always try to get the first tee time on Friday morning at Turner Highlands Country Club in Turner, Maine. I played the front nine and came around to hole #10, a short par 3 measuring 135 yds on the card. I pulled out my Bushnell rangefinder and the hole was playing 109 yds downhill. I picked my 50 degree or “W” wedge. The shot landed about 2 feet short of the hole took one hop past the hole and rolled back in for my first “ace”. Here is the question. I was playing alone, after the shot went in I looked around to see if anyone witnessed the shot. The gentleman running the pro shop named Bob was standing outside and saw me swing the club, I started yelling for him to come over because I thought I had just made a hole in one. He came over to the tee and watched me walk down to the green and pull my ball out of the hole.
