25 years ago while on family vacation at the Carolina Coast, I carded my first ace. It was the day before my son's first birthday which made it even more memorable. My son is about to turn 26 and earlier in the day yesterday he ask if we could schedule a golf outing for his upcoming birthday. Thinking that I better get some practice, I headed out for a twilight round at the beautiful Bryan Park Golf complex in Greensboro NC. Third hole par 3, 7 iron, smooth swing, be the club! 4 feet short, hop, hop, softly snuggles on to the foam cushion in bottom of the hole. Sweet! Text'd my son.
