Coming off a frustrating double bogey on the 11th, just when I thought things couldn't get worse, the storm siren sounded to call all players in for inclement weather, my dad and I decided to play one more hole before we went in since the 12th was a 130 yard par 3, relatively simple and pain free. Being in a rush, I deviated from my normal routine and took no practice swings, I gripped my 52º wedge and flushed a perfect baby draw. Once it hit the green, I knew it was in, I watched it track from left to right almost 25', and just when I thought it was too good to be true, the ball vanished. I celebrated with my father and it was so special for me to get my first hole in one with him, a truly great end to a great day!
