I was playing our weekly Sunday shootout, had a great match planned from Father’s Day the week before. My best friend and myself vs a couple other good friends of ours. It was during our first 9, hole #6...coincidentally I hit a 6 iron...it was a little low on the face but on a great line to the pin. It landed short and released to the hole, from where we all stood it was hard to tell from the morning shadows back in the Woods. As we come up out of the gully I’m looking and I don’t see anything on the green, so I jumped off the cart as it was moving and sprinted to the green. Sure enough, there it was!!! I’ve dreamt of that day since I was 5 years old, and for it to happen on my home course with 3 of my best golf buds, honestly I wouldn’t have it any other way!
