I've been playing golf for over 40 years and know several people who have had holes in one; some with multiple hio's. While I've been working on my long irons this year I've had mixed results. Playing in a practice round/skins game the day before a tournament, I pulled my PXG 5 iron on the #1 handicap hole at Forest Park Golf Course in St. Louis. The hole was playing 195 yards all the way back on this saddle shaped green. I placed my ProV1x on the tee and put a good move on it. The shot was laser straight and I saw it bounce so I knew it hit the green but that's all I saw as you cant see the cup from the tee. Before the next guy they'd off, a guy from the group in front of us started yelling something. We had no idea what he was saying; then one in my foursome said, "I think you made it." As we were driving up the guy who witnessed it said, "it went in." I was still skeptical until I pulled it out of the cup. 2 bounces and a short roll and into the cup...even with the short piece of PVC surrounding the pin. Needless to say I won that skin. Maybe my best golfing moment ever. Finally, my first ace.
