On July 4, 2020 my wife and I played a local course (Pinecrest in Huntley, IL). We were paired up with a couple great guys and were having a good time. On the first par 3 of the course, hole # 6, my 5 iron shot bounced twice and rolled into the hole about 172 yards away. I couldn't believe it, but the guys with me said it went in!! Afterwards, I came to find out that the hole-in-one was worth $10k due to a promotion the course was running. Talk about icing on the cake!!
