The day before my hole in one, I was playing with a buddy who saw how much I was struggling with my overall game. He recommended I buy his old set of clubs and for a second I felt insulted but quickly came to realization that I needed a change. The next day I used his clubs at Celebration golf club in Orlando. When I got to the third hole, a 167 yard par 3, I pulled out my 6 iron. It was the first time I swung my new club. It’s a blind green because of a large Overgrown wetland area that stretches from tee to green. I got to the green and my fellow golfers were pointing at the hole and laughing...hole in one! My buddy told me to put hole in one ball in my bag for safe keeping but I was so excited that I forgot. Next hole, I tee up my hole in one ball and promptly drive it into the water on the left. That’s the part of my hole in one story my buddy likes to tell, lol!
