On July 18th I was fortunate enough to get my first ace on the 3rd hole of Golden Hills Golf & C.C. In Lexington, SC during the member-guest tournament. We started on 13 and my playing partner and I had been struggling all day. Once we made it around to front 9 we started to figure things out. #3 was playing about 165 yards with the pin in the back. I hit a soft 6 iron that had a perfect trajectory. My Titleist 2 hit about 4’ in front of hole, took a couple of checks and went in. Lucky the course was giving away free beverages or I would’ve had to take a loan out.
