As we were driving to the next tee, I asked my cart mate if he had ever had a hole in one. What followed was the usual, nope, but I've hit the stick, the ball stopped an inch short or an inch long, etc. At the tee box, I knew I had hit a good shot but the elevated green prevented me from seeing it go in, but the taller fellow of our group said "It went in!" And sure enough it had! They all three signed the Titleist PRO V1 I used and, as this was a tournament, I also was "closest to the pin" for some small winnings. Why someone later wrote 6" below my In The Hole is still a mystery. Perhaps he thought it CLOSEST to the hole, not IN the hole. In any case, I also won that tournament and I still play the awesome Titleist PRO V1.
