On Tuesday August 11th 2020 I made my first hole in one! It was a breezy day and I was playing with my brother and 2 of my best friends in the world. We were playing at Empire Ranch in Carson City Nevada and on the 5th hole I made my ace by firing a 9 iron at the pin 135 yards away. With a right to left wind blowing I aimed a little more right than I normally would and put a good stroke on the ball. It landed about six feet past the cup and took one hop and started to spin back. It hit the pin hard and appeared to stick on the lip. My three partners hit and we started towards our carts. I looked at the green and couldn't see the ball anymore. I got pretty excited as we raced around the lake to see. My brother was the first to the cup but he didn't say anything, and neither did my other two partners, they let me see it for myself. After 55 years of playing this great game, I finally had my first ACE!!
