I have played hole 7 of the Meath for years. I was always happy with a bogie. The great is very hilly and slopes back to the front of the green. I met up with a walker and was telling him on the tee box how much I disliked this hole , explaining where to hit. As I hit the ball I knew I stuck it solid. He said that I must have been joking about what I said. You can’t see the green from the tee box , but I remember saying after I hit it, it will probably roll off to the front of the green. As I drove my cart up I could see my orange Velocity ball by the cup and it looked as if I was about an inch off, but remembered they had the foam in the cups so flags wouldn’t be taken out. I rushed out of my cart and stopped to wait for my partner to witness it. It was wedged between the flag pin and the side of the cup. I broke out into loud yelling . I have never been more excited in my life. I will never forget that day.
