I have been playing since I was five and regularly since 55, but at 61 I had never had a hole in one. I had not been playing well. A friend had a hole in one 2 groups ahead of us on the 12th hole at my home course, Tomball Country Club in Tomball, TX. I got to the 12th and hit a Titleist Velocity with 6 iron from 151 yards. I hit a nice high draw just like I like even though I had been struggling with fades. The ball was tracking to the hole and I said "be good" and it was. It hit about 5 feet short and rolled into the hole.
