On August 24, 2020, after nearly 60 years playing golf, I had my first hole-in-one (on the ninth hole, Red Course, a 124-yard par 3) at Hickory Ridge, Galesburg, Michigan. Our golfing partners, John Shoup and Duane Pierce witnessed the ace. I am grateful for family, friends, and coaches who encouraged us to take up the game and stay with it over the past six decades.
