This was my first time playing McCullough Emerald Golf Course. Greens and fairways were in immaculate shape. Pulled up to the 15th tee, which was a blind dog leg right around 260-275 yards. I told my buddies I was going to try and fade my tee shot around the tree line, which seemed like the best bet, although there were a couple bunkers hugging the front of the green. I teed off and hit it exactly as I called it and knew I had to be in good shape. We jumped in our carts and when we were within view of the green I didn’t see my ball on the dance floor or in the bunkers, which was odd as I thought my line was perfect. We jumped out of our carts two of the guys in our foursome were fighting over who’s Titleist was who’s, while I was searching for my ball not thinking it was in the cup. At this point my buddy hit a great 100 yard shot pin high and it checked to the left and just missed the cup. As I went up to celebrate I noticed my ball in the cup.
