I am a freshman on the Columbus North golf team golfing with a group of guys during the pandemic. I just made birdie on the previous hole to go back to even on the day. I stepped up to hole 6 out at Harrison Lake Country Club in Columbus Indiana, my home course. I was originally going to hit a pitching wedge, but my friend told me to hit a 9-iron. I'm glad I listened to him. I hit the shot and it felt good, before I new it the ball landed right behind the hole and spun back in and we all went crazy. I ended up shooting a 71 which is 1 under par and it is my best score out there.
