I’m from Colorado Springs, think thin air. I was visiting family in Phoenix. A nephew wanted to take me folding. Went to Starfire and due to over seeding on one of their Champions courses, we had to play on their short course called The Mulligan. Got to hole 7, and from the whites that day it was 137 out, which I would usually hit a smooth PW, but I’d been hitting short much of the day, so I decided to smooth a 9. Pin was front green. Ball hit 5-7 feet in front of the green and released beautifully and just kept going toward the hole. It hit left cup and spun in. I was so shocked, at what I thought I saw that I told my nephew that we should wait on the celebration until we get up there. Sure enough—hole in one!!!
