I am a 68 year old widow who has the privilege to live Sawgrass TPC. I have been retired from 44 years in public education now 2 years and look forward to having time to play a little golf. As it happened, my right knee succumbed to arthritis and I had a total knee replacement September 16. I have one child, a 41 year old son, who lives with his family in Birmingham, Alabama. Sam, as the dutiful son he is, came to assist me during my surgery. Also, my dear friend gave him a VERY special gift to play the Stadium course on September 18, 2020. Sam does not play golf like some folks I know. He is a family man working hard to provide for his family. Well, I was at home recovering from surgery will he was playing golf. His group started on hole 10. I got a text first from Sam that he parred the island hole # 17. Then a while later I got a text that he made a hole in one on # 8. Wow! Sam is rather humble, but this story has produced some pleasure for him. It pleases me that he had such a special experience....one that he will always remember. And, yes he used the Titleist balls on this special golfing event.
