  1. I was playing seven days at Seven Canyons in Sedona, AZ. Off first everyday at 7:30 playing alone. On the third day, I was warming up and Zoli Saladi from Chicago asked if he could join me. At first I said no, but then decided otherwise. We played the white tees and played ok, but not great. Walking off the 17th green, for some reason I decided to play the 18th from the tips. 248 yards uphill with two yawning bunkers, left and right, and a ditch right in front of the green. We both hit very good shots but you can't see the green from the tee We drove up to the right of the green past the bunker and saw only one ball, about two feet just past and directly behind the hole. I immediately thought I had went long, as I striped my 4-metal, but no ball back there. So I walked towards the hole, first hoping that was my ball at two feet, then I hoped it wasn't. I looked at the ball and it was his, then I glanced down and saw my personalized Titleist Pro V1 #24 in the hole. I went crazy. First ace in 55 years of playing golf with a 3 handicap, and 13 Club Championships to my name. Couldn't have come on a better hole ; longest par 3 in Arizona!
