On Tuesday my husband Jim and I went out to play golf at our home course Lake Jovita, Fl. I was getting frustrated of my front 9 game but i came around and playing better after 3 holes on the back.
Hole 13 par 3, is a 16 handicap for women. I am always struggling what club to hit, as it plays longer than the yardages. It was 119 yards from red tee, pin position was back right on the ridge. I decided to used my 6 iron. My ball landed 10 feet before the pin started rolling to the pin and disappeared. I looked and asked Jim if it did go in. He said, I don’t think so, its probably below the pin on the slope. I was optimistic and kept my fingers crossed. Jim and I walked to the green and saw 1 ball 5 feet below the pin. I said to Jim, aww... there it is, it didn't go in. Jim said, hon thats my ball. I was nervous and i asked him to take a peek and he look at me and smile...its IN! I screamed and dance... I was so happy to finally get my hole in one before our wedding anniversary. It was the best wedding anniversary gift “a Hole in One”! I shot 86 that day. 46 front and 40 back. Enjoy every day. Tomorrow is not promised! Thank you! Terry Moreno
