It wasNovember 5th, the last day of our Senior League and I had just lost a Pro V1 in the lake behind the green on hole number 5 on my way to a double bogey. Feeling a little down I proceeded to the number 6 par 3 Tee box , pulled a Titleist tour soft out of my bag, grabbed my T300 9 Iron and proceeded to tee off. I knew that I had struck it well and my partner Rick commented that it was headed on line and that it was going to be very close to the hole. the green had a raised area in center with lowered areas in the front and the back. the pin was in the back on the lower part so we could not see the ball go in the hole. As we arrived to the green we could not see my ball. Rick looked at me and said you better go look in the hole. As I approached the cup my anxiety level was on the rise. I slowly peered over the edge of the cup and there was the ball. I raised both arms and danced around the green, then told my friend Rick to pull the ball out of the hole as my true witness. Best day ever on the golf course.
