Down in Florida for awhile visiting family, and out playing with my parents. Play with my dad all the time but the first time I’ve played with my mom in a couple of years, and it was the first time my girlfriend had come see this particular course in Florida. 8th hole, 172 yards with wind quartering off the back left. Played a Pro v1 and hit 7 iron; absolutely FLAGGED the shot with a small draw, but we couldn’t see anything from the tee. I even zoomed in with my laser, and couldn’t see anything. I thought I could see a ball mark near the flag and it looked like the ball was short right by about 10 feet. We drove up to the green and were confused because we couldn’t see anything. My dad thought it might have taken a big hop off the green. I walked around looking for it but told my girlfriend to run over and check in the whole. She did and as soon as it got in sight SHRIEKED so loud 1/2 the course could hear her. Absolutely unbelievable, the ball had landed and on the first hop gone straight into the hole! It was a great celebration with all parties; my dad who has 8 aces; my mom who has none but has been chasing it for 30 years; and my girlfriend who is new to the game. Even got a shoutout from a guy who lives by the green and heard the screams!
