As it was a beautiful morning on Thanksgiving day, I decided to meet a friend @ Waynehills Country Club in Lyons, ny for a quick 9. We decided to play the front 9. I was having an exceptional round as we approached the 7th tee which is the signature hole of the course. A par 3 it was about 130 to the flag. I hit the shot with a pitching wedge. My partner shouted "it's going in" before it hit the ground. I saw the ball touch down just behind the stick and disappear. Wasn't as sure as my partner as to whether it went in. We walked down the hill to the green. As we got to the green i didn't see my ball because it was in the cup. My 1st hole in one. What an exciting moment for my partner and me. The ball ( a Titleist pro v 1 ) is now on display only in my house on the shelf
