As I approached the tee, my husband shot the distance for me. 107 yards; playing longer than usual. I walked back to the cart to exchange my 9 iron in hand for an 8 iron. Shot landed in the exact spot I intended but I didn’t see it because the pin is hidden by a bunker. As I walked back to the cart my group started yelling “that looks good... real good!” The group playing behind us ran up and witnessed the drop as well. From what I hear the ball landed 7 yards short and 10 yards left and gently released up and to the right to sink right in the hole. I was in complete shock as I ran up to validate the ball in the cup! What an amazing feeling!
