It was Day 1 of the Ryder Cup at Contra Costa Country Club. Hole#5. Two tiered green. 138 to a back left pin. I nipped a 3/4 8-iron short and just left of the pin. It took one quick hop and checked, then slowly rolled out taking 8 seconds or so before it disappeared. As per tradition, a dozen of my friends playing in the competition peppered me with $100 bills! Great swing. Great day.
