I had attempted golf during my teens and early 20s but shelved the game until this summer at age 51. I purchased clubs and took lessons but the game is still new to me and a challenge. Imagine the surprise of knocking down a hole in one off the first tee! My wife and I thought perhaps I'd rolled off the back of the green knowing that my shot had landed nicely near the pin then rolled a bit and then we didn't see it. But when the ball wasn't found off the edge of the green, I thought "what if it rolled out of sight because it rolled into the cup?" And sure enough, that's where I found it. What a way to start a round.
