I was playing an afternoon round with my wife and the sun was low on the horizon which is why I did not see where my ball landed on the green. I only knew that it was well struck and heading right for the pin. As I approached the green, I could not locate my ball and feared it rolled off the back of the green. I searched around and couldn’t find it. That’s when I decided to check the hole and the great surprise within it. I gasped and raised my hands in the air and my wife was in disbelief. After more than two decades of playing golf, I finally got a hole in one!
