On January 29, 2021 the weather in DFW was cool & very breezy. The wind was out of the south and blowing directly from the green back to the tee box on #11 at Lantana Golf Club. The pin was positioned close to the center position on the lower tier of the green that measured approximately 140 yards. Clearly the right choice was to hit a little more club than normal to compensate for the weather. My club of choice was my Titleist AP2 714 6 iron. My ball flight was not excessively high and the roll out only measured 5-6 feet. After 2 short hops the golfball rolled forward and into the cup. This was my first & only hole in one, and witnessed by 3 of my golf buddies Chip, Roger & Taylor. This was a very memorable occasion for me followed by several pitchers of beer in the clubhouse...hosted by me!
