  1. This was my second year playing. It was a foggy morning in Connecticut. I was playing with my regular partner, teacher and close friend Carlo and another close friend, Ron. The Golf Club at Oxford Greens, Hole #2 was playing 165yds with a severe downhill elevation change. I used a 7 iron and struck it well. It was hard to see the green, but Ron said, "I think that went in". Carlo and I bantered back and forth, as we usually do, on the tee. We play for cigars and an ace would cost him a box. As we approached the green we saw two balls. I went to the cup and there it was. After congratulations all Carlo could say was, "I've been playing 35 years and haven't made one and you throw one in". Anyway, it was a pleasure to have two great friends there and of course a box of good cigars.
