I was playing in our Tuesday Breckenridge Golf Group at the New Westminster Golf Course & Club in Ft. Myers, Florida and got my ace on the 3rd hole. It was a 115 yard shot from the Senior Tees and I used a 9 iron. Of course I was using a Titleist Tour Soft #4 ball. My friend, Dave Jacobs, had just hit his shot only a few feet from the hole and complained that I didn't make this hole one of our closest to the pin prizes. I was thinking, it doesn't matter cause I am going to hit it closer. I lofted my shot high and it was right at the flag the hole way. It landed a little over a foot from the flag, took one hop and went it in the hole. I said, I think that went in the hole and my friend said, I think so too.
