    Hello Everyone,

Here is another training video to create the proper feel for shaft lean and attack angle which are both critical for creating a flighted wedge like the TOUR pros. Outside of buying new SM7 wedges and a ProV1 ball, consistent spin generation is created by technique where the club moves in a shallow fashion with a lot of shaft lean. This is simple physics. There is no other way to create the necessary spin loft and friction between the ball and club face. As you can see in the video, this is a simple illustration of how to "blend" these two components into a feel with ordinary household items (Velcro strap, tape, string). Remember, anyone can create spin. It is not a power application, but precision. Learn how to move the wedge properly and you too can create TOUR spin and better scoring!

Sometimes drills can be too advanced. If you find the string drill too challenging, then hit short pitches and even take practice swings to help refine the motion and feel the components.

Thank you for watching and be sure to see more wedge play action at wedgecraft.com

    all the best,

Layne - thanks for posting. Living where golf is a 5 month season, I'd forgotten the lesson from 2 years ago about shaft lean. I reminded/re-educated by a forecaddie on the TT SD event and even using this in a bunker, I've not missed getting out of a bunker or bladed a chip shot over a green. Granted, only 4 rounds, but my confidence in facing these shots is far better than before the event.
