I'm a right handed player, I'm getting a shooting pain on the outside of my left elbow right at impact. It doesn't hurt a lot, but it's enough to bother me. It doesn't get any worse throughout the round, the pain is consistent.
This has never happened to me before, does anyone have any experience with this, or any tips on how they have beaten it?

Just an FYI that tennis elbow is not really in your elbow. It's more of a forearm/elbow, and the tendons on top, whereas golfer's elbow is underneath. So, if you feel the pain in the tendons, then it's one of those. If you feel it in the joint, it's not. I've had both and they both suck, but easy to fix with a Theraband Flexbar.
I agree with the above that any elbow issue could be from impact or from coming off winter. Also agree to check your follow through to be sure you are minimizing the impact from an improper position at impact.
