Hey guys. Checking to see if anyone of you have had problems with this rangefinder. I’ve had it for 3 years, only a 2 year warranty. I have replaced the battery now 3 times and have realized the rangefinder is draining the battery over a day if I keep the battery in the rangefinder. I haven’t had any issues with this v4 until now. Don’t want to spend another $400 to $500 now only 3 years later. I have contacted Bushnell support and they said they can do nothing with it since warranty has expired. Thanks for any insight!!

I strongly believe rangefinders have made golf easier and more enjoyable in many ways but Bushnell's price tag is astronomical. I have the NX7 Pro Slope Rangefinder and its price was just about $200. I've had it since 2018 and I've never had any issues with it.

I have the same model, but have a reverse problem where the battery doesn't seem to make very good contact and often I have to kind of smack it on the side to get it to work. Like you, it's out of warranty and I just kind of deal with it.

Have had three different models of the Bushnell rangefinders over the past 15 years and have never had an issue with any of them. That is why is continue to use that brand. The last V4 I had had the jolt feature and my batteries lasted at least a year and a half and I played three to four days a week. When I upgraded to the Pro XE in the past few months I pasted it own to friend who is still using it. That style has since been renumbered to the V5 but cannot remember what year. There is a current V4 model out but that is exclusively for Dicks Sporting Goods. Not all products are guaranteed for the life of the product and it appears something is not allowing yours to turn off. Sometimes putting the rangefinders in the cupholders of a cart will keep them on and cause the batteries to wear out more quickly. I always use Duracell Coppertop batteries because they do last longer. From my personal use, I have had exceptional experience and highly recommend Bushnell. Check you button is see if there is any foreign matter that may be holding the button down. I clean my periodically. Just some self maintenance I do to extend the life.
