I’ve always worn FJ golf shoes for the last 20 years, I have some DNA original in 8.5 with BOA & they’re so comfortable after a round or two. So I bought another pair of DNA 2.0 the same size also with BOA, I played 3 full rounds of golf in them now in 18 months, I’ve practiced in them & tried to get them to be comfortable.
They absolutely rip my heal to bits, I’ve never had anything like this before with any golf shoes, I’ve just finished playing today & my right heal is so sore. I don’t know what to do with these shoes, do you think these shoes are badly made, or just a bad one off, I’m really worried now to buy any more footjoy shoes.

Speaking as a former shoe tester for New Balance and the swoosh brand, sometimes when a model is tweaked, there are small changes in the last, mid sole or the heal counter. Sometimes, the same shoe is manufactured in two different factories and there can be minute differences. Hopefully you can take the shoe back for an exchange. Foot joy has excellent quality control in its manufacturing process. I’d call this a fluke. P.S. I’ve never worked for Footjoy or Titleist. Good luck.
