I'm looking to buy my friend's 910 D3 driver but it has no serial number on the club head. The shaft does have the hologram and the serial number etched into the adapter.

Is there a reason why there wouldn't be a serial number? He claims that the guy he got it from is legitimate. And my friend is a stand up guy so I trust him. Looking at the club head beside another 910 D3 with a retail serial number I can't spot a single difference.

    Thanks!

All 910 metalwood heads sold at retail or built for Tour should have a serial number etched into the head.  You can take the club to your local Titleist account and they can set up an inspection for you in our Warranty department.

Maybe a tour head? Where did your friend get it? Ebay? Titleist is a big company, mistakes can be made. How does it perform?

i thought i had the same problem with mine. upon closer inspection (and u have to get very very close) you will see some extremely faint numbers on the heel edge of the driver head.
