910D3 shaft length

    Hi all,

    Just purchased HD6 with the D3 head and Motore F1 65 shaft only with all standard length.  After taking out the shafts out from the D3 head, I found that the two shafts are not the same length. Using a measuring tape, the shaft length is as follows  

    HD6 shaft is 44"

    Motore F1 65 shaft is 44 1/4"

    If I lay both of them down, the shaft length difference is about 0.2" using a caliper.  I also double checked the grip and they lined up so it's not the grip installation.

    Does anyone know the standard length of shaft only and its tolerance?  Thanks!

    Hello Albert,  We had our production crew duplicate your shafts and they came up with the same measurements as you and are investigating as we speak.   The shafts are supposed to be the same with a tolerance of 1/16-1/8 max.  We would be happy to take the excess length  off your Motore F1.  Please take it to your local Titleist pro shop and have them call the Warranty department.
