The chrome on your wedge(s) is only 0.001" thick. You have a couple options.
1. Burnish (rub) the areas that are bothering you lightly with steel wool, then wipe with a cleaner or solvent. You can repeat this many times. Make sure you mask the ferule so it doesn't get hit.
2. Take them to a machine or auto paint shop and have them blasted. Both should have a surface comparitor that'll show which grit blast media will get your desired finish.
